In this striking creation, ALX reimagines La Chute de Phaéton by Peter Paul Rubens, enhanced with three hand-applied gold leaf lightning bolts. At its center stands Zeus, king of the gods, rendered with long flowing hair, a commanding gaze, and an air of timeless authority. Behind him, the dramatic fall of Phaéton, son of Helios, unfolds-his failure to control the chariot of the sun culminating in divine punishment and cosmic chaos.
